artist bio

Brooklyn guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Brad Williams consistently brings a deep musical perspective to projects both creative and professional.
Originally from the musically fertile city of Memphis, Brad was formally educated at the University of North Texas (B.M.) and William Paterson University (M.M), but like many musicians, his most important education has come from thousands of live performances and recording sessions. Raised on his hometown's southern soul, blues, and lo-fi, these early influences proved integral as Brad found his voice across spectra that labelers might insist on identifying as different: organ jazz, frenetic free improvisations, textural rock productions, and soulful R&B.
In addition to his solo improvised works and original music, Brad has worked with artists like Denitia Odigie, Bruce Williams, Cecil Brooks III, Steve Johns, Rob Lewis, Tommy Sims, Michael League, Robert "Sput" Searight, Pat Bianchi, Corn Mo, and many others.
