Weekly gigs continue Saturdays at Carino's with Willie Appliewhite and Mondays at Cecil's with Mike Lee and the Cecil's Jazz Orchestra. The Cecil's Jazz Orchestra will also be appearing Friday, November 16th if Mondays are not your thing.

Last-minute, but playing tonight at Carino's, which is a new spot at 1710 2nd Ave (between 88th and 89th sts). This is an interesting trio with trombonist Willie Appliewhite and percussionist Charles Pulliam. We've been doing this almost every week, but nothing is set in stone and it's always last minute, so visit the contact page to get in touch weekly to see if this is going on! Come to Smalls at 183 West 10th street (and 7th ave) in Manhattan, NYC to hear the Jim Saltzman Quartet featuring Brad Williams (gtr) Jay Foote (bass) and Quinn Blandford (drums). This is the early set, 7:30 PM, on Friday, September 28, 2007.

Stop by the Candle Light Lounge at 24 Passaic St. in Trenton, NJ on Saturday afternoon, August 18, from 3-7 PM to hear the Freddie Hendrix Quartet.

Just a quick update to keep it current. I'm still doing the one-man-band thing in my home studio from time to time. The collection of solo material is growing, and you can hear many of these tunes on the creative section of this site. Cecil's Jazz Orchestra is still doing the Monday night thing, and I'm doing a few other freelance gigs as well. Unfortunately, many of the public events have been fairly short-notice of late and have not made it to my website in time. Stay tuned for more, however!

Welcome to the newly developed incarnation of my homepage. This page should be more searchable, flexible, easy-to-navigate and fast-loading than ever. Lots of things going on musically; I am still playing with the Cecil's Jazz Orchestra Monday nights at Cecil's Jazz Club in West Orange, NJ, and I have been doing some freelance jobs and recording some of my own music in my home studio.
